A revolutionary paradigm shift in neuromodulation for epilepsy treatment

Neuromodulation therapy optimization remains a complex challenge, often leading to variable therapeutic results due to reliance on arbitrary parameters searched through a trial-and-error approach and aimed to forcibly control epileptic activity.
At NEUROTRONIKA we challenge the status quo by developing the first neuroprosthetic system that goes beyond traditional neuromodulation to offer intrinsically personalized solutions for individuals living with drug-resistant epilepsy.

Neuromodulation

  • Unnatural interaction with the brain
  • Arbitrary therapy established by trial-and-error
  • Forced control of epileptic activity

Neurotronika

  • Symbiotic neuroprosthesis integated within the brain
  • Biomimetic stimulation directly guided by the brain
  • Functional restoration

Approach

Unique map-bridge-restore system for brain-guided biomimetic stimulation

Step 1
01

Map

Personalized electrode montage informed by the epileptogenic network.

Step 2
02

Bridge

Built-in algorithm translating brain activity into personalized biomimetic stimulation conveyed between brain areas.

Step 3
03

Restore

Symbiotic neuroprosthesis restoring the dialog within the epileptogenic network.
